Easy Envelope Liners as Seen in the Polkadot Post

Adding a pop of color to your envelopes couldn't be easier - and it makes such a nice surprise for the recipient! Find out how easy it is below -

Start with a few simple tools:
A pencil
A pair of scissors
A glue stick
Your Envelope & a piece of paper for your liner

Trace the shape of your envelope flap onto your piece of paper. Make sure to leave enough paper to stick down into the envelope.

Cut along the line you traced.

Check to ensure the liner fits well into the envelope and that the placement is okay. Make adjustments before adding glue to the back of the liner.

Slide the liner back into the card and press down to secure. Gently fold at the crease before the glue is set to allow for adjustment. A scoring tool is also helpful if you have one.

Voila! You're all done and ready to add your card or letter. This technique works with pointed and square flap envelopes.
