Come by Bethany Lutheran Church (3701 W Slaughter Ln, Austin, TX 78749) on Saturday, November 8th from 9am-4pm for their annual Holiday Marketplace to kickoff your holiday shopping! I'll be there with Christmas Cards, Advent Calendars, Banner kits and more! 

Saturday, December 6th from 9am-5pm and Sunday, December 7th from 10am-5pm at the Kendall County Fair Grounds in Boerne, Texas.

Oma's Christmas Fair is an Original Handcrafted/Handmade Show and will feature three buildings of
exciting and unique merchandise produced and showcased by approximately one hundred vendors locally 
and from across Texas. The family oriented craft fair will also feature Santa Land of which features visits 
and photos with Santa. Lunch with Santa on Sunday and many activities for the children to include a 
coloring contest on Saturday and Sunday. A Bake Sale will be featured along with the traditional "Potato 
Soup" along with other food and drink items from the concessions during the show hours. Oma's Shopping bags will be available for a fee of $20.00 and all proceeds go toward the Homestead Heritage Exhibit Hall Scholarship Fund.

The Blue Genie Art Bazaar is a fixture of the Austin holiday shopping season. Open again for it’s 14th year this Nov. 28th at the Marchesa Hall & Theatre. An annual arts show that features unique work from over 150 local and regional artists – with a portion of proceeds going to Make-A-Wish® Central & South Texas. It is a fun, free shopping event you can’t miss.

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of joining some local bloggers at the unveiling of the Ikea Paper Shop in Round Rock, and I'm so excited about what they have introduced! If you love color coordinated paper goodies, you definitely will want to stop by. There's fun wrapping paper, washi tape, gift bags, tags, ribbon and lots of stationery staples like notepads, note books, and even a giant clipboard! 

They have a really fun collection of honeycomb paper globes as well. They come in some fun new shapes and of course some great colors. I love using these for party decorations! I'm especially in love with the tiny ones for decorating packages!

If you're a lover of paper, parties or gift wrap, you won't be able to leave the Ikea Paper Shop without an item or two - or ten. I came home with just about everything with a polkadot pattern. Not that you're surprised!!
